IPO The decision relates to a claim by Fireworks Ltd to entitlement to a pending patent application proceeding in the name of Mr Cooke and Mr Musk and a claim by Mr Cooke to entitlement to a separate patent granted to Watermist Ltd. Both patents relate to fire suppression equipment. Mr Cooke and Mr Musk were employees of Fireworks at the time that both inventions were made. The case hinged mainly on the credibility of the various witnesses who were cross examined. Both claims were unsuccessful.
