Application, brought by the Solicitor General, under section 36 of the Criminal Justice Act 1988, for leave to refer a sentence which he considers to be unduly lenient. The sentence was passed on the offender after the offender had pleaded guilty to five offences, counts 2, 6, 7, 8 and 9 of sexual activity with a child under the age of 16, contrary to section 9 of the Sexual Offences Act 2003.
