Regina v Miranda: CACD 15 Feb 2000

Where after a conviction, the defendant was allowed an adjournment to provide further information with regards to him having property which was derived from his criminal activity, the time limit for the making of a confiscation order began at the time when the adjournment was made. A later confiscation order made after the six months period had expired was invalid as being without jurisdiction.
