The complainant has requested information regarding recent tenders in relation to domestic abuse support services. The Police, Fire and Crime Commissioner for Staffordshire withheld the information, citing section 12(1) (Exceeding the cost limit) of the FOIA. The Commissioner’s decision is that the Police, Fire and Crime Commissioner for Staffordshire has applied section 12(1) of the FOIA appropriately. However, she considers that the Police, Fire and Crime Commissioner for Staffordshire has breached sections 10 (Time for compliance) and 17 (Refusal of a request) of the FOIA The Commissioner does not require the Police, Fire and Crime Commissioner for Staffordshire to take any steps as a result of this decision.
