Appeal from a decision rejecting a Patent Application in the name of Fujitsu Ltd. His grounds for rejection were that the subject matter of the application was not an invention for the purposes of the 1977 Act in that it was excluded as a result of the provisions of s. 1(1)(d) and 1(2)(d) as being a program for a computer or a method for performing a mental act.
