Friends Life Ltd v Siemens Hearing Instruments Ltd: CA 3 Apr 2014

The tenant purported to exercise a break clause in the lease, requiring that the notice ‘must be expressed to be given under section 24(2) of the Landlord and Tenant Act 1954’. Though the notice was otherwise compliant, it did not refer to the 1954 Act. The landlords now appealed against a decision that it was.
