Application brought by the Solicitor General for leave to refer a sentence which he considers to be unduly lenient. The sentence was passed after each offender had been charged with offences contrary to section 5 of the Domestic Violence Crime and Victims Act 2004 (the ‘DVCVA’). That offence is of causing or allowing a child to suffer serious physical harm.
