ICO The complainant has made a series of information requests arising from a ‘Safe and Sustainable’ review of paediatric cardiac surgery. The National Specialised Commissioning Team (NSCT) responded by claiming that it was not under a duty to comply with the requests because the cost of doing so when aggregated together would exceed the appropriate limit for the purposes of section 12(1) of FOIA. The Commissioner’s decision is that the NSCT properly applied section 12(1) of FOIA. He does not therefore require the NSCT to take any steps as a result of this notice.
