The complainant has requested information relating to a terminated maintenance contract. As part of its response the public authority provided some information, stating that this was all it held, but the complainant did not agree. The Information Commissioner’s decision is that the public authority’s response was late and also that it only took into consideration one objective reading of the request. The Information Commissioner requires the public authority to reconsider a broader reading of the request and issue a fresh response in compliance with the FOIA.
