ICO On 15 May 2010 the complainant requested information from Bolton Council relating to the existing purposes that were registered with the ICO on the notification register. The public authority provided a response on 18 June 2010. The Commissioner finds that Bolton Council failed to provide an appropriate response to the complainant within the statutory time frame for compliance and has breached section 10(1) of the Act in failing to comply with section 1(1) within twenty working days.
