The court faced three points: ‘The first concerns the inter-relationship to the law of appropriation and that of waiver of forfeiture of leases. The second point relates to the inter-relationship of the law of voluntary arrangements and that of forfeiture of leases. The third concerns the terms on which relief from forfeiture should be granted for non-payment of rent.’
