ICO The complainant requested information from the Ministry of Justice (the ‘MOJ’) about reoffending data relating to serious sexual offences for a specified period. By the date of this notice, the MOJ has yet to provide a substantive response to this request. The Commissioner’s decision is that the MOJ breached sections 1 and 10 of the FOIA in that it failed to provide a valid response to the request within 20 working days of receipt. She requires the MOJ to respond to the request in accordance with the obligations under the FOIA.
