Times The Times Law Reports are respected summaries which have been produced in slightly different ways over many years.
WLR Weekly Law Reports W L R 1953 - A major series published by the Incorporated Council of Law Reporting. The original aim was to bring case reports out quickly – thus weekly publishing, and in practise it tended to be first to the punch. It is very well respected. They tend to publish 300-400 decisions a year.

Years: Reports are organised differently. Where volumes are published annually, and the case is to be found by looking for the year, and then perhaps the volume within the year, the year is surrounded by [square brackets]. Others are located primarily by reference to sequentially numbered volumes. Here the year is only an incidental guide to the age of case rather than a primary means of finding it. In such cases the year if added should be within ordinary (curved brackets). It must be said that this is much honoured in the breach.
