The defendant had offered to plead guilty if the prosecution accepted his plea on other counts. He complained that he had been given insufficient credit.
Held: Full credit was not available for a conditional plea. A full trial had been arranged and expense incurred. It was undesirable to leave discussion of the pleas from the plea and directions hearing until the morning of the trial.
