Regina v Wellman: CACD 5 Jan 1999

The sentencing guidelines for sexual assault on children were no longer appropriate because of changes in law. An assault on a daughter’s 13 year old friend after plying her with alcohol justified a two year sentence with extended supervision and registration whuch was upheld.
