The families of three men detained in Guantanamo Bay sought assistance from the respondents, saying that there was now evidence of systematic torture by the Americans.
Held: Permission was granted for a review to proceed. The standards of what constitute torture applied by the US are not those applied under the European Convention on Human Rights.
