The Police Service of Northern Ireland (PSNI) claimed that compliance with the request would exceed the appropriate limit and therefore refused the request under section 12 of the FOIA. The Commissioner’s decision is that PSNI was entitled to rely on section 12, and he does not require any steps to be taken.
