The unanimous decision of the tribunal is as follows:
1. That the claimant was a disabled person within the meaning of the Disability Discrimination Act.
2. That the claimant was discriminated against by the respondent on the grounds of his disability and the respondent is hereby ordered to pay to the respondent the sum of andpound;5,500 by way of compensation for injury to feelings together with the sum of andpound;7,072 in respect of loss of earnings arising out of the respondent’s failure to comply with the duty to make reasonable adjustments.
