The complainant has requested from Lancashire County Council (‘the council’) all information held on his late uncle. The council applied the exemptions at section 36(2)(c), section 40(2) and section 41(1) of the Freedom of Information Act (‘FOIA’) to the requested information. The Commissioner’s decision is that the council correctly withheld the information using section 41(1) of the FOIA. The Commissioner does not require any steps to be taken.
