The complainant has requested a copy of the Enforcement Investigation Guide (EIG) from the Insolvency Service. The Commissioner’s decision is that the Insolvency Service has not successfully engaged section 22 of the Act in relation to the EIG. The Commissioner requires the Insolvency Service to disclose the EIG to ensure compliance with the legislation. Information Tribunal appeal number EA/2012/0097 has been disposed of by way of a consent order.
