Foreign and Commonwealth Office (Decision Notice): ICO 6 Dec 2012

The complainant has requested information which the public authority had previously advised him was ‘open source’ material which he had been unable to locate. The public authority cited regulation 12(4)(a) of the EIR stating that it did not hold the material. The Information Commissioner’s decision is that the public authority does not hold it and he therefore requires no steps to be taken.
